Appointments Online

We would like to introduce our new facility - Appointments Online. This facility allows regular patients to view, book and cancel appointments online. It is a simple and easy system to use, and especially useful during those times when the telephone lines are busy or the practice is closed. Patients must be 16 or over to register for this service.

This facility is for routine doctors appointments and blood tests only. You will be able to book appointments with your own doctor. Blood tests may only be booked if you have the required blood form or have arranged with the surgery to have a blood form made up. Any patient that arrives for a blood test without a blood form will be asked to rebook.

Appointments for Medical Examinations

If you need to arrange for a specific medical examination, for example a HGV medical, life insurance or fostering medical, please contact reception and arrange this appointment. It is not available via the appointments online service as this takes much longer than a normal appointment – if you do book a normal appointment and then expect the Doctor to do a medical, you will be asked to rebook.

New to Online Booking - How to Sign Up

If you wish to sign up for this service please visit the surgery and ask for your online appointments password.  The reception staff will be able to print this out for you while you wait.

FAQs

What if I forget my username or password?

If you forget your username or password at any time it is not a problem. Just contact the surgery and we can give you a new login.

Can I still book appointments over the phone if I sign up to Appointments Online?

Yes, you can still make appointments in the usual way, over the phone or in the surgery. Appointments Online just gives you more flexibility, as you can view, book and cancel appointments when the surgery is closed or when the phones are busy.

Abuse of Appointments Online

If a patient abuses this booking facility, the practice reserves the right to stop that patient's access to internet appointment booking.
