Brannam Medical Centre's Hypertension clinic is run by Lynn.

If you are on medication for your blood pressure you will nee to see the hypertension nurse once a year and your GP once a year.

When you see the nurse, she will check your weight, height, life style, family history, blood pressure, urine, bloods and update your prescription if necessary.

If your blood pressure is regulated at less than 150/90 you will see your GP in 6months.

If it is raised you will see the nurse on a further two occasions to see if your blood pressure settles. If not, she will refer you back to your GP for review.
